Personal Development: Lesson 4

Lesson 4

secured payday loans

WHY? (Use your own paper and answer your why?)

Have you ever truly answered the why question?  Why are you here on earth, now and at this time?____________________ Why did you open this page?___________________ Why are you interested in Zija? __________________Why are you NOT making the changes you think you want to make?

What is the payoff for you staying the same?_______________________  You may be thinking there is no payoff for staying the same but think a little deeper. If you changed would more be expected of you? Would you have to give up some little (or big) habits and some time wasters?  Are you a little nervous of what others would think and expect if you were different?  Would you be uncomfortable in a different role? You know if you have always been the party person and you changed would you have friends left? What if the new you didn’t set well with others? Would you have to change a few friends or maybe most of them?

We are all creatures of habit. Some habits serve us well like brushing our teeth and combing our hair. Some habits allow us not to make progress.

Make a list of the top 5 (or more) things you do that don’t allow you to make progress. Start with TV. How much time do you watch TV in a week?

What will happen if you don’t make changes that improve who you are? ______________________  Even more scary what would happen if you did?_______________________________________

Excuses: TIME, MONEY, _________________, _________________, ___________________,

We all get in a rut and year by year we dig it deeper and deeper. Soon we can’t see over the rim and then we feel trapped.  I encourage you to build a little pile of mud and stand on it just long enough to see what lies beyond your rut. There is a whole world out there and it is fun and frightening and exciting and liberating and waiting for you to come and experience it.

For the next week: Do one thing differently than you have been doing it. Try to do it the new way every day for 7 days. For example: when you dip food from a serving dish how many dips do you take? Be ware and dip one less.

Vitamind: Never cease to learn.  As long as you’re green you’re growing but when you are ripe you have started to rot.
